ANOTHER BANGER FROM HIT SHOW THE STRAIN. MY GOD.

gus becoming a vampire killer is so cool but so sad, he lost his friend and his brother so of course he didn't have the strength to kill his mother straight afterwards (surely this will not come back to haunt him). that shot of the one guy's head rolling down the stairs and one of the worms splattering on the camera lens? now that's CINEMA (or television?). he also met zack, whom i actually really liked in this episode!! the scene in the store was very good!! 

but dude. DUDE everything that happened in the tunnels. them being in the world trade centre and the lore explanation for it is CRAZY. eph and fet's bickering is so dear to me, eph truly cannot have one straightforward relationship in his life. there is something deeply not straight about those two, eph literally touched fet's ass i cannot make this up

i'm not normally claustrophobic but the scene where they're all going through that narrow passage Got To Me. i thought "fet is so hugelarge there's no way he'll fit :(" and then of course he got stuck. i was terrified. i like how nora helped him through despite their disagreements and i hope those two grow closer, they have a very interesting dynamic so far!!

the master looks like a character from the muppets i'm sorry. he's so goofy i cannot take him seriously (this is not to the show's detriment i mean it with so much love). setrakian absolutely breaking down broke me in turn, he's become the rock of the group and their voice of reason so to hear him absolutely crumble and lose his patience with them was genuinely affecting, and i'm legit worried about how things will progress from here. he's an amazing character and i feel for him so much.
