Best filler episode of all time. Not the best episode, but definitely my favourite. This episode had everything I’d ever want from this show. It was dark, depressing, it was gripping, engaging, and handled the darkest themes of the world. It also contained easily the best dialogue of the show, so many lines this episode had me thinking. It was perfectly shot, with tons of visual storytelling. I could probably count the amount of words spoken. “We tell ourselves… that we, are the walking dead.” Bravo Vince! I guess the ending scene doesn’t make it completely “filler” but 98% of this episode could’ve been skipped so I’d count it as filler. Maybe 3x5 for ATLA is a better filler but it’s really fucking close. Extremely high 4.5
