The best world i have seen in media. This is a review of "Adventure Time" but it is also about the Big 3 of Cartoon Network, I thought it was necessary to include them. This show loves to add things to the world it has in each episode and it doesn't stop until the 10 seasons are over, but this doesn't affect the story, nor is it an overload of information, nor is it adding just because, they remember everything they do and everything makes sense even 10 SEASONS later. This series is what "Rick and Morty" wants to be, a world where you can do whatever you want without limitations, one of the few series, if not the only one, that does this well is "Adventure Time". The animation is beautiful, it may be missing things, it may feel incomplete at times but it is perfect for the series and I wouldn't change anything about it. Also the opening sequence of each episode is a work of art that I haven't skipped even once in the 289 episodes it has. One thing about this series is that I think it has the perfect length, because even after finishing it I thought it would leave me empty inside, but no, it left me satisfied and I don't want to watch it again yet, unlike other series like "Regular Show". I also spent the last 10 minutes crying and I cried this much on 2 other occasions, the end of "Regular Show" and the end of "Six Feet Under", my 2 favorite episodes of all time. The first two seasons are tough, 52 episodes that you have to watch, where at most 5 are very good, the rest are very mediocre or bad, despite this, the characters and the world are harmless, original and beautiful enough to keep you entertained, not for 10 seasons, nor 52 episodes, but I think it is an effort that has to be made to be able to enjoy the rest. It is not that it is very bad either, it entertained me and I did not hate it, but I know people who can end up hating it and leave the series there, which I would understand but I would think it would be a terrible decision. Now that I've finished the 3 great cartoon network shows (Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball and Adventure Time) I can say that they are the best animated series in history and I feel honored to have grown up with them. They are 3 works of art that independently of the rest of the world work as their own piece of art, they don't depend on the others to shine and we should all enjoy them for what they are. I'm probably looking at them with nostalgic eyes or I'm exaggerating, but I don't care, these shows are the best there is on television today, if there's even the slightest chance that you haven't seen "Adventure Time" or any of the others mentioned, go see them because if you grew up with them it's a beautiful nostalgia trip that I recommend everyone to experience, and if you didn't grow up with them it doesn't matter because the fun that these series give will not be given to you by any other show.
