It’s not as bad as people say definitely bottom 2 seasons of the show and you can tell the writing took a big hit, stupid decisions some boring plot lines and overall just not the way you want to end the show BUT the first half of the season was still enjoyable TV for me second half - kind of. Every season the show just strayed from what made the first few so good, the show becomes more generic and less unique like S1 particularly. And the finale just leaves so many unanswered questions, it’s so abrupt and leaves so many characters in the same state they started and I doubt new blood will give any conclusions to Quinn or Batista or Masuke etc. I like the character development they projected for Dexter and where he ended I like it’s just how they did it I don’t.
