Trusting the process. A lot of characters were introduced and only a few gave us a good sense of identity, but there are lots more episodes that could justify meeting so many. Bar scene was weirdly long, don't know why it kept on going. Just 2 things didn't feel true to The Wire: 1) the European liaison was written a little stereotypically formal; and 2) right before the big ending reveal, did the cameraman pan down early thinking the bolt was about to come out but the nut wasn't actually off yet? The movement felt awkward and unmotivated. Ending itself was a big one though, and strong. Jimmy is such an engaging lead to follow, so I just hope he gets more of the runtime going forward than he did here.
