didn’t watch this but i’m logging it anyway bc im a completionist and i’ve alr seen it. i don’t rate unless it’s 5 stars but ill allow this to be my sole lowest rating because oh my god who thought blackface was a good idea. they could’ve adapted literally any book and they chose ‘thank you jeeves’ a book where literally a third of it is about minstrels, blackface, featuring the mistreatment of black people et cetera … sigh. sometimes i am reminded of why i occasionally dislike white people. this is one of the occasions.
