first episode was pretty intriguing and it had me thinking this might be an unexpected banger this season, but it pretty much all falls apart from that point on. the pacing is awful with a nonsensical story that tries to make itself seem way more nuanced than it actually is. characters were all very uninteresting with the exception of belle, and even then she's just ok.
