Honestly I was in between 3.5 stars and 4 stars for this anime. The only reason I’m ranking it high is because I love Killua and Gon so much. It was an enjoyable anime overall, but there were a lot of inconsistencies throughout in terms of quality. Everyone’s favorite Chimera Ant Arc was definitely overrated imo. They dragged it out soooo much, the story could have been done in 20 episodes less. My favorite arcs were the Election Arc and Yorknew Arc. Those were better than Chimera Ant imo. I have to say the number one reason that ruined this show for me was the existence of Hisoka (and Palm)… The people that actually like him should be on a pedophile watchlist and get their hard drives checked because this shit is outrageous. He alone makes me understand the anime haters 100%. He was casually making RAPE jokes about Killua, harrassing the kids and bluntly expressing that he wants to RAPE GON AND KILLUA and there are people out there that defend him ?!?!??? 😀😀😀 I almost rage quit many times just because of him. And Palm too people seem to forget that she went on a DATE with Gon…….. Why is all of this so fucking normalized in this anime and in the community as well????? I’m losing my mind out here 😭 If this anime continues someday, free my boys Gon and Killua of predators around them PLEASE!!!!!! I will not be watching otherwise thank you!!!
