Alright, at first Connell really gained a lot of respect for being a "Consent King" but later on lost all of it when he was being a bitchass coward while his friend called Marianne "ugly"!? Like what?? And on top of that he was tryna cover up his friend's bullcrap by blaming it all on her (indirectly) instead of apologising for not standing up for her. Okay, I get it that he didn't wanted to come out as someone who was acting like a "protective boyfriend" which would expose their secret relationship but he could have also talked some sense into his friend right there for saying shit to a girl who wasn't even doing anything to them. Take a stand bro!! She's your girlfriend now. Also, I have to mention this that I'm not okay. The show is going to shift gears soon and I'm really scared.
