So Rick and Morty in anime, I didn't really see the necessity of this, like those anime shorts we got a few years ago was enough Rick and Morty anime for me. But I liked this first episode. The animation looks more like Ping Pong the Animation or Mob Psycho 100, but the OP is a banger, and even though I didn't fully understand what was going on in this episode, I liked how sad it made me feel. And I also thought that little Citizen Kane parody was fun, which Morty's dying words and dropping the globe. I hope this show follows a more linear structure, contrasting to the original show being episodic, and I hope for this show to strike more emotions out of me. My main gripe is the voice acting, its so hard to get used to the quirky Japanese voices, when the american ones were so iconic.
