Show is good, met my expectations exactly, which is nice. The visual style was strong, the character designs cool, and the plot, while aiming for a cyberpunk romp with plenty of grit and action, had some nice social commentary added in there which felt excecuted pretty well. The show has a few questionable elements though. Nevertheless, was just a good, entertaining time with some standout moments thrown in, such as Ikarashi's episode. Amemiya's was good too, and Imaishi did a strong job on the finale (other than a tad bit too much flashback reliance in that final episode in my opinion), with episodes looking good throughout. The OP also goes hard with a cool aesthetic style that fits both the show's themes and it's tone. Additionally, the ED is gorgeous, courtesy of Mai Yoneyama and her intricate character designs married with her gorgeous lighting and colour sensibilities. Overall, this was the entertainment I wanted it to be, plus it had enough genuine heart and emotion, enough of a proper plot and ending, and enough through it's little bits of social commentary thrown in throughout, to satisfy me nicely. Basically, as I said at the start, it met my expectations almost exactly, and I enjoyed it quite a lot. 7 or 7.5 I think for this one. A good time.
