now i can officially say i’ve finished dexter this season had its ups and downs, i liked the father son dynamic throughout and thought it was really great seeing dexter change for harrison the setting was alright, liked the cold but most the side characters were mediocre at best the police were actually just so unfairly op for no reason it makes 0 logical sense but i guess it drives the story forward cheesy references to the old show were very annoying like specific dialogue deb was actually an amazing addition to this though, easily one of the best acted characters this season she was funny and made a lot of sense music was good, outro scene was not good like people say with the credits, and the episode summary flash i didn’t like too much alongside the episode names being plastered on random objects kurt caldwell was a great antagonist though, and episode 8 and 9 were really great with him harrison and dexter- although kurt definitely was one of the more thick dexter villains dexter himself was a bit stupid, but he retained some of his old self, albeit flawed now ending was good, not great but good crazy i’ve finished this show now, yet we’ve got two spinoffs coming soon so not really, yet i feel that’s obviously just a money play
