Lisa Kudrow knows how to make crazy characters. Phoebe Buffay, Valerie Cherish, and Fiona Wallice all have their quirks, and it's interesting how different they are yet similar in terms of how unconventional their characters are. Web Therapy's Fiona Wallace is one of the most evil characters in a comedy show, and she's so, so fun to watch. Lisa Kudrow just have that energy to make a character like her so enjoyable and funny. The issue with this show, and also its strength, is how free-flowing it feels. You can tell these actors are just having fun exchanging banters and witty comebacks. But from a traditional standpoint, the 'dialogue' isn't streamlined and smooth because the entire purpose of the show is to be improvised. It's still their biggest strength though, the banter is so funny, and sometimes you can even see how they're on the brink of laughing or breaking character. With how unconcerned it is with overarching plot, and more so the consequences of these variety of personalities clashing on to one another, it can be off-putting how unconventional it is. But 'unconventional' is a fun aspect of television that really do deserve more praise.
