Batman: Caped Crusader reminds me why I love Batman so much, this show has tons of fantastic characters and villians, a great noir theme for Batman and a some great stories throughout the show. The aesthetic of the show is awesome, I love the noir theme and I just think it's a really cool looking show. There are some light animation problems, like a lot of far out shots look kinda weird at points and sometimes the characters look a bit stiff but it doesn't bother me too much. The story of the show is awesome, I really like how each episode has its own unique villian and plot line, but how it also has connecting story lines that go throughout the whole show. There honestly weren't any episodes I didn't enjoy, the first episode was probably the weakest one but I still enjoyed it a lot. The characters in this show are fantastic. I obviously love Batman, he has always been one of my favorite characters, I do wish they did maybe a little bit more with Bruce Wayne but he did get some good moments. The voice actor for Batman has me torn, there are times I really like the voice, but other times where I feel the voice just seems very flat and somewhat off. I really like the side characters as well, Barbara and Montoya are cool, and I really just enjoyed everyone. The best part of this show is the wide variety of villians. I honestly loved all of these villians and there wasn't a single one I thought was totally lame. Ima do a quick ranking of them from worst to best and give my quick thoughts! Light spoilers ahead if you don't wanna know the villains of the show 9: Onomonopeia (I thought he was a really cool looking villian, and I like how he talks by saying onomonpeias, but he never said anything else and we didn't even know who he was 8: Firebug (I really loved the scene where he saw everything on fire, but he was more of a filler villian for the main story) 7: Gentleman's ghost (bro was just a racist ghost 😭 he had some cool backstory though) 6: Natalia knight (she had some really cool stories and I liked how really evil she was, but she isn't the most memorable 5: The penguin (I normally don't love gender swapped characters but I really liked penguin here, she was pretty menacing and just a fun villian) 4: Catwoman (I really liked her, but I wish she was more of a character throughout the show, but another solid adaptation 3: Clayface (I loved Clayface in this show, I love the mystery of who he is and I love how he uses his powers. I also really liked his new design) 2: Harley Quinn (I loved her build up throughout the season, and seeing her normal human character was super cool. She has some great development and I love her new look) 1: Two face (the main villain of the season, had great build up and it's hard not to feel bad for Harvey dent. Great villian and a fantastic adaptation) Overall this show was soooo awesome and I loved it all, so much I had to do a full ranking section! But this show was fantastic and I will immediately watch season 2. 9/10
