When people used to say "trash television" I used to think of reality shows or other types of poorly made programs. But from now on when they say trash television I'm going to unequivocally think of Smiling Friends. What a piece of garbage! Zero content, every time you watch an episode you say "But what the f*** is going on here?" and not in the best sense of the word. Zero creativity, very poor, weak, horrible and horrendous character design. Unfortunately it does not have a lower score because at least the backgrounds are saved, as they are relatively well done and the color palette is also well done. That's what saves the score because otherwise it would be less than half. When a program involuntarily generates irritating, uncomfortable feelings in its audience and gives you the feeling of wasting your time, you cannot judge it any other way. To dedicate more words to it in this review would be to reward something that deserves nothing. In short, the worst thing I have seen in animation in a long time. 4.22/10
