I Gave up on The Walking Dead TV show early on in Season 7, although it had occasional moments of greatness it just never truly compared to the vastly superior (and far darker) Comic Book source material to me but now it’s over I thought I’d give some of these Spin-Off Shows a chance out of morbid interest. Sadly, the chance at least in the case of ‘The Ones Who Live’ has not paid off. Andrew Lincoln is a great Actor and always commits to the character of Rick but the showrunners have never allowed him to be as morally complex or as formidable as he got to be in the comics leaving Rick feeling neutered as a result and this carries through to this new spin-off. It probably doesn’t help that I never really bought the Rick/Michonne romance which this is centred around, I’m out!
