Just gonna start off by pointing out the obvious, we were absolutely robbed of more seasons. It is so upsetting that there are only 18 episodes of this. I know I’m like 25 years late but seriously how did they cancel this, the cast is so stacked too, this was clearly bound for a ton of success. This was just a great show and is definitely a classic, I really enjoyed it and I looked forward to watching an episode whenever I had the chance. Since it was really consistent and most episodes are at least a 4, I feel like giving it a 4.5. After all, this is probably one of the best shows set in high school that I’ve watched. Love the balance of comedy and drama in this show especially since they actually tackle realistic scenarios and don’t just rely on typical tropes. Every character gets their own meaningful story throughout these 18 episodes and I ended up appreciating every one of them. Both the freaks and geeks groups are so much fun to follow. Even Mr. And Mrs. Weir end up being really good, I thought from the first episode they would just be simple strict parents, but they’re always so great in their screen time. My personal favourite is Lindsay though, she is the perfect main character for this show and Linda Cardellini is stunning and does an amazing job at playing her. Haven’t watched a lighter show in a while until this so I’m really glad I went through with it, can definitely see myself rewatching it someday along with a few other comedies that I want to revisit.
