Now fully caught up to the main timeline. And this episode was insane, the fight is absolutely bonkers and Luffy is finally 1v1-ing kaido. Upper cut of the century. The animation is also beyond me. I’ve been binging One Piece for the past 6 months, I’d seen episodes here and there but to sit down and say that I’ll watch all 1030 episodes was something that I never even thought of quitting, and it was an incredible experience to travel with Luffy and the crew as they navigate through Oda’s amazing world. Alabasta, Ennies Lobby, Thriller Bark and now Wano. I cheered, I cried and I jumped through all of it. Truly one of the greatest achievements in media, and one that everyone should experience, so get off your butt and watch One Piece if you haven’t, the pace can drag but if you invest yourself it flies by.
