This show is honestly giving me everything I want to see as soon as I'd like to see it, last episode I got stuff about Tony's kids and Tony's backstory and now, as I thought that Christopher hadn't gotten a focus in a while, there's a Christopher episode.

It was really good, and it's looking like a recurring pro of this season to have a strong central idea that all of the other plotlines centre around and have their own input on, which I really love. In this case, it was even to do with Italian-Americans which was something they talked lots about early on and I've always wanted more of (Tony's stuff about having to be in the mafia due to lack of options also existed so it isn't at all like they abandoned this idea). 

All that being said, I don't feel like they managed quite as much around the central theme as they did in the previous episode. Christopher's development and presumable depression was probably the highlight because, though I did enjoy the commentary on Italian Americans and how their heritage affects both the characters in the mafia and not in it, it felt like it didn't affect the characters or say quite as much about them as it could have. Maybe it's a case of some things going over my head and it's on me but I didn't feel all too compelled by any of it.
