Finally Mcnulty back in homicide, it’s so refreshing seeing him take up most of the episodes again. Great episode the media storyline is actually introduced pretty will and ngl I actually enjoyed it, better on rewatch aswell I used to hold this lower then I am now, hopefully this season is better on rewatch.

This or season 1 fs his best season, he was great in s3 too, and good in s2 but s1 and 5 did the most with him fs

Rn I have s2 > but ngl I might have s5 > after I rewatch but having s2 last is not taking away from anything s2 does I love that season
S2 has a far more well written and compelling central story. S5 is mainly carried by certain plotlines and its last 2 eps

I agree that s2 central plot line is far better then s5, but I feel the side stories in s5 are much better then s2 also s2 central plotline took up more of s2 then s5 did for s5

and yea 2 over 1 is valid, even tho I have 1 pretty far apart from 2 both are still so peak
S5 id like alot more if it wasnt the final season. Certain creative decisions made in s5 just dont fit for a final season
Yeah ik but it still did end up being the final season. I can forgive the circumstances but the problems are still present
