For a kids cartoon this is solid, though the plot lines only sometimes hit the level of quality of tos. Some highlights for me include the one where Spock visits his younger self, the one where Kirk fights Satan and the final episode of season 2. Oh and the one where the enterprise pranks everyone! The animation is questionable at times, with extreme closeups to save time and money, but it has heart. The introduction of new non-humanoid species is great too. The medium makes the show able to do things that tos just couldn’t, and that adds some allure. A fine show. I’d let my kids watch it if I had any. Probably better than most children’s entertainment nowadays anyways.
