omggg i kinda never wanted to start this show bc it didn’t seem like something i would normally sit down and enjoy but it literally did a complete 180 on me and i get why this is a ton of peoples fall favourite show…it’s just such a comforting show and shockingly gets out a few laughs. i really enjoyed this season it took me like a week and a half to finish. MY CURRENT FAVS: LORELAI, rory, sookie , luke and emily. (basically the main characters lol) the relationship between rory and lorelai is SOOO cute, it’s like a bestie type of friendship but with ur mother and everything a person could want, but you can see that relationship isn’t always good especially for rory and the way she treats her mom and has random outbursts but i love how lorelai puts her foot down at times and actually becomes that mother figure for rory rather then a friend CHILTON CHARACTERS: i really love when we get to the chilton scenes, i wish there was way more of it so we can see further dynamics but i understand there’s still more depths to learn about paris, tristan, madeline and louise. they’re just all in the middle for me rn. this might sound so sick but i love it more when paris + madeline/louise are rory’s enemies rather then friends srry 🤭 i just love paris and her snarky comments. final thoughts, i really felt bad with tristan, you could definitely see he’s REALLY into rory and i felt after her breakup with dean she was kinda toying around with her feelings of tristan which i felt lead him on to believe she was interested. idk it may be me but they could’ve been so cute seeing how devoted he can be when he’s in a relationship 😭💔 LORELAI + HER PARENTS: so i rlly love this storyline and sometimes do feel bad for both parties during this especially lorelai. she’s not the character to fit into a classy parties and dress up and you can tell her parents are utterly disgusted with her by it from the way they treat her. but then i look at it from their pov and see they simply wanted to provide and raise a daughter to be like themselves and especially when rory was taking her emily to visit where her and lorelai used to live prior to lorelai leaving her parents and you can just see the look on emily’s face of pure sadness and that’s when i finally understood. i am glad that lorelai did leave her parents after she got pregnant with rory and build her own life and ran the INN to further proves she’s capable without her parents and goes to show when you see how hardworking rory is bc of her mother. throughout the season i personally don’t know how to feel about rory and deans relationship, they’re kinda cute but then he breaks up with her for the dumbest reason which shows his immaturity which i feel like we’re gonna see a lot of in the later seasons 🤷🏽‍♀️ UGHDHDHD I feel like they’re just dangling a carrot of luke and lorelei infront of me and then just bringing it back up, i already know they end up together but a part of me wanted them to get together at the end of this season and for her to breakup with Mr Madina. but i’m about to start s2 and i’m REALLY excited cus this is the season my bby JESS comes in and i’m just all around happy for it!!!! i could literally cry rn. kk bye off to stream 🫡💋💋
