I genuinely mean this when I say this but Mob psycho season 2 was an 10/10 masterpiece of a season. I have actually never been so confident that I would be giving this a 10/10 on a tv show. The first season of Mob psycho 100 was great, a solid 8/10 and a really fun time. But this season surpassed season 1 in every aspect possible and came out to be absolutely amazing. Let's start with the story, in my opinion the stories in this season are all absolute amazing. Notice I said stories instead of story, because this season has 3 main storylines along with some other more filler type episodes. Now don't get me wrong these episodes that don't tie into a major storyline are all still great with some fun slice of life sections and some good development for characters. But the best parts of the season were the 3 main storylines. The first one was the evil spirit arc where Mob and Reigen get a big job from a rich guy. And without spoiling this arc gets super serious very fast and has some downright fantastic action and some crazy twists and turns. Then we have the Poor lonely whitey arc. This arc doesn't focus on any fighting and action but instead focuses on the character development of the characters. This arc isn't as interesting but genuinely adds a ton of depth to both Mob and Reigen and especially Reigen. The third arc is the main story of the season with Claw and the big bad boss. Without a doubt this is the best arc. The new characters are all actually really good villians and some great characters from last season return just to fight the boss. Speaking of fights the action in this arc is absolutely fucking fantastic, there are like 8 10/10 action scenes that are insanely fluid and incredibly well made. Along with that the characters also get amazing development which is probably the second best part of the season, Mob and Reigen have some of the most character development I have seen over a 13 episode season. Those is what pushed the season to easily be a 10/10 along with the fantastic story lines, great twists, fantastic side characters, insanely good animation and more. This is why I easily give mob psycho season 2 a 10/10. I will be starting season 3 sometime soon.
