Oh please give me more Yoonsuns!!!!!!

Absolutely set in her mind. Confrontational. Yet would read herself honestly and respects the game. She was exciting to watch and I really wish someone came at her with the same energy. 

Every episode the hook is "what's the secret strategy to be revealed at the end?" With her, there are no secrets & that is super refreshing. 

And that's also why the other players confuse me. The show is all about getting people on your side & backing you. It's clear she would always struggle to win people over plus she is not subtle at all. You'd always know where she's coming from. So why not try to use her to take out someone who has beat the reigning champion multiple times? Instead they all immediately go to help him plan to take out...someone who will always lay her strategy out on the table...???

Another note on Yoonsun's endless efforts: at this point the biggest twist an episode could do is to reveal that there is no twist. No rugs are pulled out at the very end.

Even from the first episode of the season, it felt clear who was going home (or at least to the death match) because of who felt certainly strong about their strategy which was revealed to us early on. Same with the death matches.

There comes a time when someone is on top or has a strategy, and it is at that time when I know they'll lose. It's never a question of IF they fail but HOW. I assume the show thinks all the micro details of the How will be engaging (and they are!), but the show also does itself dirty by being repetitive when it comes to the macro composition of the episodes. Again, it's why I found Yoonsun so engaging. She was marching to the beat of a drum which the show doesn't really play.
