Asylum kept me on my toes quite frankly the whole season. One of the darkest seasons of American horror story is also one of the best.  Although there were multiple storylines going on at once and occasionally intertwining not one of them was boring. All the actors did an amazing job bringing these characters to life regardless of how dark they got. If you’re looking for true horror mixing with a psychological thriller this is a season you should watch.
