One of the funniest seasons I have watched recently. The comedy and the INSANE animation made this a joy to watch. Saitama's punches are just so satisfying. The gore and sound effects make it so much better as well. Still, I don't want to give it a higher score than 7 or possibly an 8. The crazy action sequences and the comedy are really all there is. The writing isn't anything special and that is what drags this down. I wouldn't call Saitama a flat character. There are definitely moments where some depth is shown in his character. I have heard that season 2 is quite a step down from this season. I'm going to hold my thumbs that it won't be.
