The first two seasons of this show was everything I could have wanted out of a reboot, they address a lot of unresolved trauma, questions and character stuff that seemed to drop off in the original after season 5. I really appreciated how they bring back old characters but amongst the young group I struggled to care about Dani, and the Finley Soph relationship good at times but was handled poorly as it progressed. I loved Micha and Maribel. With the og cast I loved Alice’s talk show, Bette’s story’s were great and Shane for the first two seasons was living up to my expectations really diving into her past issues, but they really fumbled the shess relationship and the whole 3rd season gets weird with cast members so many people leave out of the blue and they barley address (nat & gigi) and the main cast is so out of the spotlight and some episodes isn’t even featured which feels so out of place and again wouldn’t be bad if I cared more about the younger cast :/ 

Overall like I said season 1 & 2 are near perfect in my eyes I had so so so much fun watching and it got me though a tough time personally and I am so glad they did this series as the original was iconic but they definitely needed some updating to do. But definitely wish the young cast had better writing & wish season 3 wasn’t such a mess. Worth a watch for sure! Really sad it ended cause there just isn’t this LEVEL of queer rep all in one show :( anyways HAPPY PRIDE MONTH
