I love this show so far, splitting the show into essentially 3 different parts being the main case, comedy case and character development maybe a feels a little formulaic sometimes but it's an easy way to not let it become too overwhelming for the viewer.
House is of course the standout character so far, his personality is very unique and from that pretty much is what the show is built around. The other main 3 characters are pretty good too but suffer sometimes from some shitty writing tropes most notably Cameron. Chase was my favourite around the start but his arc went kinda crazy and became somewhat of a side villain toward the middle which was an interesting direction of his character. Foreman though is for sure my favourite now the season is finished. Wilson and Cuddy are 2 great additions to the cast too who play around House in an interesting way, both showing different ways in which people try to help him but end up enabling him. Voegler I've seen a lot of people hate on for being cartoonishly evil but I think he's a good foil for House and I would have liked to his arc last a bit longer. Seeing House try to manoeuvre around him was a cool element to the show and kind of saved the middle of the show from being completely mediocre.
To be clear those episodes were fine, but definitely were the weakest part of the 1st season for me mostly due to some uninteresting cases and some poorly aged plotlines (Heavy). My favourite episode of the show so far is Histories and I think the season was on a great run around that point too. I'm honestly interested to see where the show goes from here since it seems like House's character has already had a decent amount of work put into it.
