wasn’t too much of a fan of this season i fear. a lot of it had to do with the writers trying to fit so much in 8 episodes that it just leaves you a bit ???? they seem to want to shift to a more typical-show format where every character and plotline matters rather than it focusing on whatever bridgerton sibling the season belongs to and although I don’t hate the idea of it… i think it was executed poorly. since im a kate and anthony fan, i hated seeing how a lot of their big moments happened off screen and we were just told they happened like “2nd honeymoon!” or “we’re back and pregnant!” so i hope simone and jonathan have time to be more included for the next one. as for colin and penelope,although they had a cute moment here and there, i think it was the same for them. it was so abrupt after that kiss for him i wish we got to see why penelope liked him and stood by it so much from the start, older flashbacks to when they first met would’ve been cute because they’ve been friends forever and yet again we’re only hearing abt it. too much of their scenes together focused on the lady whistledown secret (i get it) but anytime they reminded each other how much they loved/cared for each other it became a “in spite of this” love confession. something I did really enjoy apart from the kate and anthony scenes (🤭) was francesca’s storyline, I can’t wait to see more of her next season as well and I really do hope season 4 is benedicts because i’m tired of him being a whore LMFAOOOO.
