This show is phenomenal. To the art style, the compelling story and characters, to even the amazing soundtracks. Although the story of these characters is over, I will be rewatching their stories over and over again forever. Season 1 is nothing like you’d expect when you hear there’s a League of Legends show. It truly is nothing like one would expect in the best ways possible. It immediately draws you into each and every character and their motives and struggles. You get immediately attached and invested. It’s such an amazing balance of both plot and character development. A wonderfully fleshed out season that leaves on the biggest cliffhanger. Season 2 while amazing and captivating, I think it falls short of S1 by a small bit. It definitely brought out all the emotions and I cried A LOT, but to me it just wasn’t as balanced as S1. Something about the plot to character development ratio was off, thus leaving some (not every) characters with very rushed and questionable endings. Same with some plot points. Some plots get unsatisfying endings that make you question why they were brought up in the first place. I truly loved both seasons of this show, but S1 will just hold a special place in my heart. I just love the moments between characters and the dynamics present during that season. OVERALL, Arcane is one of the best series I have ever watched and I will recommend it to any and everyone regardless if you play league or not.
