I mean, this was great. I feel like lesbians don’t really get an opportunity to shine as much as gay men, not in a truly educational way and I felt this showcased a strong demographic of gay and bi sexual women.
I also feel this show is both accurate and inaccurate in its own way.
How it’s accurate: it definitely feels more like a dating show than love island, with real sexual interest and people willing to put themselves out there and taking a chance with their feelings, with no cash incentive and no fake pairing up to stay longer. It’s not a popularity contest and you get to see real girls really flirting.
What isn’t accurate: how they expect these girls to stick together after the show when it can usually be nothing more than a holiday romance, due to real life distance for where the girls live and the cost of travel. If they really wanted these girls to match and stay together, the girls need to be in close proximity to each other, otherwise it can only be for the show, also, it’s a pressure cooker in there, of course they’ll find someone to kiss!
Episode 7 was genuinely edge of the seat stuff, 8 had production fingers all over it cos of the unnecessary drama.
Great music, and Dannii looked amazing in the pride colours.
