it has its pros and cons. theres plenty to criticize it for, for example there are a number of moments that feel very infantilized. however, it is not all bad either. youngwoo being another savant stereotype is not great, but unlike a lot of shows, to coincide this EAW at least does show more of the "unglamorous" sides too, particularly with discrimination. I also think its important how throughout the show, they always made it abundantly clear that junho likes youngwoo for her. he has never viewed her as a pity case or anything. he has always genuinely liked her simply for who she is. characters like his friends and sister suggest this and he gets into a bar fight and tells them they are wrong. the writers put in effort to ensure that their relationship never felt like that of him pitying her. that and additionally combining it with the episode emphasizing that disabled people deserve to be loved just like everyone else, is one of the biggest positives about the show, in my opinion. there is a lot that could have been done better. it is far from perfect. but I dont wish to condemn the show entirely despite this because it did also do positive things that are far from common in media. its a mixed bag, which a lot of media in general does tend to be

another complaint I do have though, is the taesumi & youngwoos dad storyline. it didnt make sense. I dont understand why they were angry at each other, I dont understand taesumis motivations for wanting to get youngwoo fired. I simply dont understand what was going on there, and so I for the most part lost interest in it. I have no idea if I am the only one who was so confused, perhaps it is a me problem, but I just think that plotline could have been a lot better
