Decided to rewatch this episode as it’s been almost 4 years since my first watch. I remembered a good amount of it but wanted to really remember everything to have a proper rating. And there is no denying it, this is one of the best episodes ever and probably in my top 3 oat. I remember liking it a lot back then but just rewatching now I forgot how fantastic this truly is. I don’t think they could’ve done anything better honestly. It’s the perfect conclusion. The amount of parallels in this episode alone is unreal. It perfectly unravels what this show has built up to be. It gives Jack maybe the best conclusion to a character I’ve seen. The final talk with his dad is one of my favorite moments in TV ever. Jack finally realizing how important he was to others and his understanding of everything, just brilliant. I will never understand the hate this episode gets. It’s a masterpiece.
