Yeah… they really pulled off an impossibly perfect finale. Incredibly well-written. Brilliantly unexpected. Brutally satisfying. One of the best character conclusions I’ve ever seen. This anime subverted my expectations in SO MANY different ways! Lelouch very much deserves to be hailed as one of the greatest characters of all time. Truly peak fiction. I really like that all of the side-characters who deserved a happy ending actually got one. Fire stuff. Gonna be hard to fill this void icl. Might start Hunter x Hunter???
