(I skipped all filler barring parts of 141, 142 and 220 considering they're partially canon) For a while before I started watching this show, I had always wanted to watch it, but I was unsure as there were mixed opinions on it. And I've gotta say, I'm glad I did, because this show was pretty damn solid. While there are a lot of corny moments and several mid episodes, overall the story, fights, voice acting (watched in dub), writing, and more were all very solid. Not to mention the buildup to the Sasuke Retrieval arc was amazing. Best episodes: 133, 132, 134, 79 Favorite characters: Kakashi, Itachi, Naruto, Gaara, Sasuke, Kabuto, Neji, Rock Lee Arcs ranked: Sasuke Retrieval arc > Chunin Exams arc > Konoha Crush arc > Waves arc > Search for Tsunade arc Best fights: 1. Naruto vs Sasuke 2. Gaara vs Rock Lee 3. Naruto & Sasuke vs Gaara 4. Naruto vs Neji 5. Hiruzen vs Orochimaru Overall, peak show. Can't wait to watch Shippuden.
