Ok this was an exceptional episode. Heavy themes of segregation in a racial way but in many other ways as well. The directing felt more focused this episode and the same goes for the set designs. My only strifes are that firstly (and this goes for the entire show so far), the cutting back from the past to present isnβt portrayed in a way that feels distinct. Almost as if Jack and Kateβs storyline is happening currently with the rest of the cast. No specific editing or transitions are used to signify the flashbacks so itβs pretty jarring while watching. Also, Tobyβs sad story felt a little too forced and soapy.
