at this point i don't even hate lana lang's return. i just hate how they've retconned the clana breakup video and are just ignoring all the reasons they're not compatible anymore and haven't been for like 3 seasons :/ idk man clana has got to be the most insufferable relationship i've ever had to sit through in a tv show and that's saying something 😭

honestly for me it worked for the first 5 seasons. tbh if it were me, though, after Reckoning they would gradually just become friends after lana stopped trusting lex. then lana would amicably leave smallville and maybe return for an episode in season 10 with a new life and show up for clark's wedding or something idk 😭
but either way they wouldn't have gotten back together in s7 and DEFINITELY not s8... what were these writers thinking bro
