I mean it so genuinely when I say I knew the composer(s) for this were different from the composition for Tales of the Jedi within a few seconds. How? Because the score here is, uh...good. And knows its fuckin place. The head-bashing score for TotJ is the #1 reason I haven't rewatched it.

Here, we have something so much more incisive and contemplative that I was surprised to see Kevin Kiner's name credited for the music at all. I'd put money on him basically being a consultant to his sons, and not much more while they do most of the legwork, for this series.

Back-handedly complimentary rant aside, the witch mother was a pretty darn good character for how little time she had on screen. So good, in fact, that she's...more interesting than Morgan. Morgan's fine, but can we come back to the magic mom please? Idk if this is a plus for the show to have interesting side characters, or a minus for not having the most engaging protagonist. Anyway, not boring, so we're doing better than the last SW I tried to watch (I can't even remember if I finished Ahsoka ep 1). Hopefully this is a fruitful series!
