Big improvement on the past few episodes. It's the first time in a little while where I can say that the episode stood out to me visually, so many shots looked amazing and the use of colour was great too. I wanted to specifically mention the use of the new prisoners getting a white jumpsuit, they use it to make Frank seem like an outcast in the prison, so that when he kills all those people and the blood stains his white jumpsuit, turning it orange(ish), it's like he's earned his place through violence. That shot of Nobu at the end - especially paired with the line about there being no such thing as death - looked really cool.

All of this episode made really good continuations of things that had lots of potential, like Karen with the NY Bulletin guy, or the Fisk and Frank plotline. The setup for Fisk's (who I can now call Kingpin) plan and motivations was really cool and incorporated his ideology and Frank's into something that made both characters' build-ups feel so worthwhile. I also really think that dropping the kingpin name for the first time on somebody that isn't Fisk was pretty awesome. As for Karen's plotline, I've mentioned before how good they are at utilising the potential in that New York Bulletin guy, and using him here to give Karen a purpose in a time where it's difficult to have major characters be relevant, considering Nelson and Murdock is seemingly over, was cool.

I do have a couple of complaints here, however. I felt Foggy and Matt's confrontation here was a little bit lacklustre and I feel like more could have been done with that scene, and after that Foggy now has nothing he's really doing without Nelson and Murdock. The other issue I found was in how they're doing both this The Hand stuff and the Punisher and Kingpin stuff and it sort of undermines both. The Punisher is the cool threat that I as a viewer want the show to spend more time with and am happy when he gets screen time, however he's undermined by the fact that the other antagonistic force seems to be way larger of a threat, and The Punisher is slightly less immortal than them. On the other hand (pun not intended), I have no reason to care all that much about The Hand from a narrative point of view, because they aren't villains that have been fleshed out before and now suddenly they're a potential world class threat that is over shadowing one of this show's strongest points.
