Holy frick Spider-Man is broody here. Also I don't really get what the mutation even is or why it's happening, which might be on me for not watching previous episodes, or might be on the show for putting up any kind of barrier to entry for a kids' breakfast cartoon.

Just threw this in to my X-Men TAS watch for the tie-in and it was cute, but kinda weird to see how differently so much of the X-world was designed. Does the mansion get super sleek and silvery later in XTAS? I just went off of the one Reddit comment I could find that guessed at where this episode (and the next) belonged in XTAS continuity.
