This is going to be a lot of Yap and just talking about why got 5-8 is mid at best and at the worst arguably the worst tv has to offer . Danny and Jon ————————— To start of wit the two big players of this show the ice and fire , Jon and Danny both under gone strong and vital moments from being sold off, raped and abused to Jon’s story of being beat , spat on , and betrayal leading two his death . They both have royalty in them even before we know of Jon’s heritage he’s a stark and Danny is a targerian they both should have everything but don’t and go through very similar arcs that leads them to here. And there dynamic is forced and disgusting and cringe worthy . The way they play of each other is as entertaining as a wooden spoon it’s just bland and boring . But that’s not the worst they grown stronger and closer even though it don’t feel like it and start sleeping together, Jon goes from this hard bad ass to saying “yes my lady “ every 5 fucking seconds , he goes from i won’t bend the knee to doing it 5 times a day as some form of ritual . It’s cringe and uninteresting and not how Jon acts we know this because he was wit another woman long before this . Another thing is he literally finds out Danny is her blood and her true heritage and it leads to tension but like literally nothing interesting, Jon tells Sansa and Arya of screen ….. one of the biggest moments off screen, Jon doesn’t really question much and doesn’t want to be king even though he has so option and viserys with new gained information and Sansa just like spread it like jus gossip ☠️ IT MAKES 0 SENSE . And this boring back and forth and drama between Sansa and dany too is so forced and makes literate 0 sense it’s drama for the sake of it .and this all ends with Jon killing Danny after rushing the mad queen arc , a arc that needed 2 seasons to decently put to screen done in a ep nice one . And on top of that little finger doest kill Jon and neither does the dragon . Which is like why ?? Why is Jon alive ? To send him to the wall ?? Erm there’s no use to it ? It’s like no punishment Jon went there voluntarily and there’s nothing there just infertile ground . Jons resurrection —————————— What was the purpose of bringing Jon back no like seriously , they make out he is gonna kill the Ice king when he doesn’t ! Arya stark does ? So why bring him back . He didn’t change or be any different i expected her to be cold , smarter more mature and kill wit out any regret loosing some of the morals in grained in him by Ned becoming his own man through the hard lessons he’s learned but no we see a glimpse of it to never see it again the show literally blue balled us . They should have kept him dead or begged fat Santa for stop being a lazy fuck and give them some source material . Battle of the bastards ———————————- Aside from cool action which is in fairness engaging asf and super fun on a first watch and really good use of camera work and composition can anyone tell me how this episode is good ? It’s so shit , first off how does Jon survive that many arrows ? It’s like impossible, then how did he survive the Travis Scott contest when he was forced into a tight circle ? It makes no sense at all and that’s not the worst part Sansa stark gatekeeped information so vital , Jon has been going around begging for a army and members to help fight for the starks when Sansa holds one of the biggest armies in Westeros and also little finger all Sansa had to do was tell Jon and the boltons would have be crushed in seconds like actual seconds but no she don’t say this so the writers can make the audience think Jon is going to die again and give Sansa her big moment . A shit ending ———————- This is the worst part like who ever made this deserve the bottom layer of hell. Watching this made me laugh like a fucking manic twat . Bran is not fit to be king like at all “ who has a better story then bran the broken “ like anyone ever bran roles his eyes back and orgasms about wheel Chairs made 100s of years ago , he has no leading qualities and states he don’t want to rule but 5 mins later he’s king . Hooray !!! Also they make this dumb ass rule that the north is independent and the king has to voted in you do release all you need is another Joffrey and all of that is undone in a heartbeat . Jon is sent to the wall after not being killed by grey worm for some reason and he goes with the wildlings why ? U can’t live there it’s unliveable so for all of the wildings to go back after fighting to get over the wall is so dumb . Also Jon is the king he is the rightful heir so he can just say fuck this and walk out , or Sansa queen of the north can jus let him out 😭 I jus wanted to talk abt how much I hate got 5-8 that’s about it
