About 8 months ago (yes I'll try to watch my Shows faster in the Future) I pretty much found my Love for TV. Of course I was already familiar with The Sopranos and Had already watched the basics, such as Breaking Bad but I was never really at that Point where I currently am. And I think what got me to this Point is The Sopranos itself. I really struggle to Put my Love for this Show into words which is also why I'll try and keep this short but this is easily the best Experience Ive ever Had with a TV Show. The Cast is without a doubt my favourite Aspect. The casting for this Show is honestly the best Ive ever Seen. Making a Top 10 List was so incredibly hard. Tony Soprano is BY FAR the best Character Ive witnessed in TV so far. The amount of complexities and Character Work Tony receives is the goddamn Champions League of Character Writing. But It doesnt Stop there. Christopher Moltisanti is probably my favourite Deuteragonist in TV. And on top of that the Side Cast is honestly the best Ive ever Seen. I think the Sopranos is easily the most Well casted, acted and written TV Show Ive watched. The Consistency this Show provides is unmatched. In a total of 86 Episodes, the lowest Rating Ive given is a 3. I stand by the statement that there isnt a single Bad Episode in the entire Show. When thinking about starting the Show I was Sure that this would be a slow burn Show. And While it Kinda is Ive found myself having the Most Fun Ive ever Had with a Series. The way this Story is paced and how the Comedy is done is breathtakingly beautiful. When watching an Episode of the Sopranos you feel Like Your Part of The Episode. I dont think there will ever be anything quite Like this Shows way of establishing a realistic and Natural Environment. I think this is truly the Magnum Opus of Television. How it Covers themes such as the Inevitablity of Death and the destruction of the American Dream is Something that Ive never seen before. The Sopranos is my Personal Favourite Show ever and even 20 years later, calling this the "greatest Show in Television" is still the Most valid Statement ever. Thank You David Chase for redefining Television.
