Yeah I don’t really have anything new to say about this show, but it really is a stone cold masterpiece. Bryan Cranston’s giving an all timer performance and Walter White is one of the most fully realized characters I’ve ever witnessed. He’s full of impotent rage and pettiness which makes his occasional moments of kindness and empathy fascinating to watch. The bulk of the shows events take place over the course of a year which explains how so many of his horrible decisions are made more out of inertia than anything. To have the last two episodes be Walter’s first real moment for proper reflection and therefore be what breaks and humbles him enough for his meager redemption is perfection.
