that ending is insane 😭 but i didn’t see it as him going to start stalking this man but realizing just again how alike he and martha are which is hinted at - i also see a lot of people being confused about why he went back to his rapist - imo, he wanted revenge and closure, peace of mind. he wanted to enact all the fantasies he had and lay into him, but as we saw in the show it chose the more realistic route and instead showed the heartbreaking reality of how much power abusers hold over their victims and how difficult that is to deconstruct, i thought it was very meaningful
