X-Men (1992)
A bit weaker than season 1 but it provides some more insight and development for our characters! Mainly Rogue, Beast and Scott and Jean to an extent. The animation is an improvement from season 1, it feels more fluid and it feels like they are starting to find the needed movements to make it feel smooth! I loved the time stuff with Bishop and Cable. My favorite storyline of this season by far, it's just interesting seeing how a few small actions can impact the future in such a drastic way. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some time stuff every season, and I mean I would eat it up! Rogue's and Beast's focus episodes were soooooo GOOD! my favorites of the show as we see in Rogue's case her past and with Beast a look at how a good honest man is affected by his mutation. Now onto my issues. Jubliee is completely forgotten, she isn't used in any meaningful ways and it really feels like the writers don't care particularly about her character. I mean her not being in the finale like what??? Another one is the episode Mojovision being so incrediblely boring and uninteresting that it genuinely did hurt my enjoyment of the season. Oh my other big issue is that the Savage Land stuff just feels really unrealized. It feels like they kinda wasted its location with Mr Sinster even if the ending teases a potential comeback there. Mr Sinster too was a good villain but also barely present for most of the season. Overall I still did enjoy my time with this! Apart from one really really bad episode I find this season to be on par with season 1
