I'm not entirely sure why they switched studios but I'm fine with it, I think the new animation is a lot smoother overall but I do kinda miss the OG. This is also probably my least favourite season, I wasn't too big on the whole Kyoto arc but the rating games stuff was good and those last two episodes go hard as fuck. Also just really didn't like how the handled the juggernaut drive stuff from season 3, I thought it was handled a lot better in the non canon stuff unfortunately. Although Issei and Rias finally together yippee If I had to rank the seasons it'd probably go 2 3 1 4 Very close between 2 and 3 but I think 2 just gets that bit higher for having all of it actually be canon 💀 also has a better OP imo. Anyways I love this show despite it's very obvious generally off-putting aspect but please I implore people to just look past it because there's genuinely some brilliant stuff here 😭🙏 Still probably got another decade till season 5 comes out if it ever happens 😩
