(Season 2 Part 2) “I… I thought you were stronger…” Overall a really great season but struggled in adapting too many issues , and it’s strange that they spent so much time making this but the animation never got as good as the teaser trailer , very much felt like a rushed production and it’s way more obvious than Season 1 , especially with how Eve was reduced to Mark’s emotional support instead of her own character , but I did like Angstorm Levy as the villain even though he’s quite underutilised (that might be the point since everyone was supposed to forget who he was) but his whole deal with the multiverse had a great contrast with Mark’s character development of being scared to become a violent sociopath like his perception of his Omni-Man , and speaking of Omni-Man , it’s kind of unfortunate that most of his development happened off-screen , but I very much love the direction they are going with his redemption arc and wonder if they could handle this larger event with the Viltrumites that they kept building up to , as someone who had mild knowledge of the comics , I got goosebumps when Anissa showed up , it seems like they are perfectly handling Mark’s and Debbie’s main storyline but can’t seem to find a footing with Eve and the Guardians , for I didn’t buy the whole deal with the Guardians being a “found family” at all (but Rex surprisingly shines though , I used to hate him in Season 1) , Robert Kirkman had a really wide story , and the show is clearly excited to tell it , but they really need more space…
