The flashback scenes in Banshee are really good, they stand out not only visually, but narratively as well. Really fleshes out Lucas’s back story, making the viewer aware of why he is the way he is and the reasons for the things he does. Just really graphic, which i could totally see why people would dislike it. But it’s choreographed really well and the colour grading really stands out to distinguish it’s a flashback. Lucas Hood is such a good protagonist and I wasn’t expecting it to be honest.
