This was another strong episode that focused on the growing repercussions of the assassination, the hunt for Booth and the realisation of the organised coup, but there's a moment I'd in particular I'd like to praise, and I don't know if it was intentional or not.
When Edward Stanton meets soon-to-be President Johnson, he finds him dishevelled and passed out drunk. When he wakes him up and corrals him to get ready Johnson is initially quite out of it and even makes a few jokes. However the more he dressed himself and looks like a proper President, the more his sinister side comes out. We see more of the President who will actively got against when Lincoln and Stanton fought hard for and less the drunkard he was prior.
I don't know if this was intentional but if it was it makes it easier to swallow the possibility he was involved in the assassination. Overall another strong episode.
