Upon this rewatch I became a big fan of this season. I don’t know why I wasn’t before. It actually pretty perfectly follows up season 1 we’ll still remaining authentic. The cinematography is really great, still cohesive with the first season but becomes it’s own as well. Mike and El’s angsty ass story line gets me every time I love those two 12 year olds like no other. Also controversial opinion but the lost sister episode is actually very fun. It needed to be more thought out but I still vibe with it. It also brought forward many important parts of El’s character. Overall entertaining and poignant but also moves the story forwards without overstepping. Maybe I’m riding the high of the last two episodes but I don’t even care! That final episode is everything to me my god.
